30 Paintings in 30 Days Challenge - September 2015

It's coming up! September 1st through September 30th - I'll be painting 30 paintings (I hope!) during 30 consecutive days! I'll be posting them here (on my blog), on my website, at DailyPaintWorks.com, my Instagram and Facebook pages. (I might miss several days due to travels, but hope to pick up later during the month).
Getting ready for this Challenge, I was thinking of a theme and subjects to paint. My August vacation that I spent with my family inspired me to paint still life paintings of vintage clay jars and vases, silver serving set pieces, etc. Here are several compositions I created to paint during the Challenge.
I will start with drawing and might do all 30 pieces in graphite or will switch to acrylic painting during the Challenge - I don't know yet but I'm so excited and feel so motivated!
I hope that you will comment on my painting posts. If you want to be notified about new posts, just sign up for the blog updates on the right side bar. Happy September!

Vacation in August and plans for September

My long ongoing vacation made me relax and make a break from painting. This time I use to focus on upgrading my website and newsletters. Besides, i'm preparing for the "30 paintings in 30 days" challenge which I signed up for along with many other artists around the world right here: http://30paintingsin30days.weebly.com
I have heard about the Challenge and its amazing effect many times, and now I want to join it. The Challenge starts September 1st and ends September 30th. The idea is to start and finish and post online one new painting every day of the month of September, 30 paintings total. My goal will be to finish at least 15.
I have lots of ideas of what to paint. Maybe I will continue floral series, or will start garden series inspired by my grandmother's harvest. I feel so motivated! And can't wait for September to begin!
